Josh Tejada
Director of Worship and Production
Josh has the privilege of serving as the Director of Worship and Production at Harvest East Valley. He came to Harvest in March 2017 after being connected by his friend Bryan Payne at Harvest in Austin TX. He graduated from The Master’s University in 2012 with a B.A. in Communications and, more importantly, that is where he met his wife, Briana. They’ve been married for five years and have a two-year-old girl named Amalia Jean.

John Smith

John Smith
Director of Connections
John serves as Director of Connections. He helps connect guests to our church family and gives leadership to Men of Harvest. Before moving to Arizona, he served as a pastor for 29 years in various roles with 14 of those years at Harvest Bible Chapel in Chicago. Prior to joining this staff, he worked at Apple and as a realtor. John has a Master of Arts (ABT) in Christian Education from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He and his wife of 26 years, Sherri, have been at Harvest East Valley since December 2015.

Terry Horne
Terry Horne
Director of Community Life
Terry and his wife Angie attend Harvest along with their four children. God gave them a heart for foster care and may continue to use that to grow their family. Terry worked in finance and investments before changing careers to serve full-time at Harvest starting in 2015. He had the opportunity to help develop the Connections ministry and now serves as the Director of Community Life overseeing small groups, Harvest Institute, and the Harvest Compassion Center Chandler.

Nick Ely

Nick Ely
Director of Next Gen
Nick oversees our Student and Young Adult ministries. He’s been married to Rachel (also on staff) for three years! He graduated from Grand Canyon University with a double major in History and Theology. In his junior year, he met Adam Bailie and started serving at Harvest East Valley in January 2014. He is currently studying for an M.Div. at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and describes himself as “one of the weirdos that actually enjoys school.”

Chrissy Myal

Chrissy Myal
Director of Harvest Kids
A native of Arizona, Chrissy came to saving faith in Jesus Christ at the age of 14. At sixteen-years-old she began teaching her very first Sunday School class (two year olds!) and has been in Children’s Ministry ever since. Before coming to Harvest, she had the joy of working with Samaritan’s Purse after working as a Women’s/Children’s Director for over a decade at a church plant in San Tan Valley. She recently celebrated 25 years of marriage to Jeff, and they have three grown sons.
